RECAP

In the second week of our sermon series, Life Hacks, we discussed a topic that many of us can relate to: What to Do When You Don't Know What to Do. We explored three insightful tips from James in the Bible about how to navigate through moments of uncertainty.

James 1:5-8 - “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.”

Our three takeaways from week 2 of “Life Hacks”:

1. Admit your need for wisdom.

2. Ask God for wisdom.

3. Expect God to give it.

What is some Godly wisdom that has given you direction in life?

“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”

James 1:6

PRAYER

Dear God,

I come to you today seeking wisdom and guidance during the times in my life when I don't know what to do or which path to take.

I believe that you are a God who gives generously to all who ask without finding fault, and I trust that you will give me the wisdom I need to navigate the uncertainties of life.

Give me the patience to wait for your timing and the strength to hold on to my faith during difficult times.

Thank you for always being there for me and for your unfailing love and grace. I put my trust in you and know that you will guide me through this situation. In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

LIVE IT OUT

This week don't forget to ask God for help when you face problems that seem impossible to solve. Sometimes, we need a little bit of divine wisdom to get through tough situations. So, take a moment to pray and ask for guidance.

Philippians 4:6-7 NLT
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
